Monitoring & Evaluation

1. Monitoring and Evaluation Framework
With support from UNFPA, NCAPD is in the process of developing a standardized framework for evaluating population and development programmes. This framework will be made available to anyone working in the population and development sector.

2. ICPD’s Plan of Action & MDGs
This involves tracking the implementation of the ICPD’s Plan of Action and the achievement of the Millennium Development Goals.

3. Kenya Service Provision Assessment
Conducting a national health facility assessment to monitor progress and gaps in service provision to the public. This survey is conducted every 5 years and the last one was done in 2004

4. Quarterly Field Visits
Programme staff from NCAPD headquarters and the Regional Population Offices make quarterly field visits to implementers of population, health and development programmes throughout Kenya.
